We are the premier rehabilitation engineering and assistive technology service delivery company in the United States. We provide clinical rehabilitation engineering and technology integration services across multiple areas of assistive technology to individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities. Our core services include direct consumer service delivery, education for consumers and professionals, research and development, and consulting for assistive technology suppliers and manufacturers. We are unique in our ability to integrate assistive technologies and strategies across multiple environments (e.g. home, school, work), multiple technologies (e.g. alternate controls, communication devices, seating systems and wheelchairs) and multiple service delivery models (e.g. rehabilitation, education, vocation).

What is Assistive Technology?

Assistive technologies are devices, services, strategies and practices that are conceived and applied to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities.

What is Rehabilitation Engineering?

Rehabilitation engineering is the application of science and technology to improve the quality of life of individuals with disabilities.

What does it mean to work with a professional who is certified as an Assistive Technology Supplier (ATP) and Rehabilitation Engineering Technologist (RET) by the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA)?
It means that you are working with a professional with an internationally accepted standard of knowledge in assistive technology who adhere to RESNA’s code of ethics and standards of practice.
